I'M LAURA
Hello! I'm Laura, a New Zealand wedding photographer with a vibrant, documentary style and dedication to documenting genuine moments. I love working with beautiful natural light, vibrant colours, and the unique atmosphere of each celebration.
As for my journey into this industry, although photography was a significant part of my upbringing, I initially pursued a degree in Law. However, upon completing my studies, I veered slightly from that path and delved into wedding photography. It might seem unconventional, but having grown up in a wedding venue, the contagious happiness and sheer delight of weddings has always held a special allure for me.
My training led me to Paris, where I honed my skills at Spéos International Photography School. Since then, I've had the privilege of capturing beautiful moments at weddings across New Zealand, the UK, France, and beyond. You'll see moments from these in my portfolio.

MY APPROACH
Documentary style photographyFor me, it has only ever been about documentary photography. The sort of photography which transports you back to a specific moment in time, in its true authenticity. It's this realness that makes each wedding so different and exciting.
It’s for this that I work as a documentary wedding photographer, gathering and weaving together moments as they unfold throughout the day. These collected moments converge to craft a vivid and memorable narrative of your special day, which you'll remember for days to come
